Ndaleentan aims to shed light on the fading and diluted culture of Manjaku and their rich heritage through various forms of artistic expression such as drama, dance, documentaries, audiovisual presentations, writing, carving, and other cultural activities. By engaging in performance arts, Ndaleentan seeks to provide the Manjaku community, particularly in the Gambia and beyond, with an opportunity to reconnect with their cultural roots. Moreover, Ndaleentan endeavours to preserve and promote the cultural heritage of Manjaku by organising diverse programs and events that foster cross-cultural understanding within the Gambia and beyond.

A Fascinating Story

The Manjaku

Manjaku culture has a rich and distinct history, characterized by unique cultural practices that have been well-preserved over the years. Unfortunately, there has been a noticeable decline in the preservation of these remarkable cultural practices.
